Creator Protection Beta
Creator Protection FAQ.
Straight answers about what the invitation-only beta does, what it does not do, and how your content is handled.
The short version
- • It helps you document originals and potential matches.
- • It is not a legal service and gives no legal advice.
- • Green / Yellow / Red is context, not a verdict.
- • We never file takedowns for you and guarantee no outcome.
- • Access is invitation-only and can be paused or ended at any time.
What is the Creator Protection Beta?+
An invitation-only beta that helps approved creators document original content, log potential copycat or impersonation matches, and download a structured Evidence Record they can keep or hand to a professional.
Is this a legal service?+
No. Creator Protection is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It does not decide whether infringement, impersonation, or a rights violation occurred, and nothing in the portal creates an attorney-client relationship.
Do you file takedowns or DMCA notices for me?+
No. We do not contact platforms, send notices, or file takedowns on your behalf. You (or an attorney you choose) decide what to do with the records you export.
What do Green, Yellow, and Red mean?+
They are plain-language similarity context, not legal conclusions. Green means little overlap was observed, Yellow means there is enough overlap to be worth a closer look, and Red means the overlap is strong enough that you may want professional advice.
How do I get in?+
Access is by invitation only. Invited creators receive a secure invitation link, accept the beta terms, complete guided onboarding, and then unlock the participant portal from their dashboard.
What does onboarding ask me to acknowledge?+
That you own or control what you upload, that you grant a limited permission to store and process it only to operate the beta, how AI processing is used, how export and deletion work (including legal holds), and what happens to access after the beta ends or is terminated.
What is the 'First Five'?+
A simple starting goal: protect your first five original pieces. It gives the comparison tooling enough of your real work to be useful before you start logging potential matches.
Who can see my uploads?+
Your materials are stored privately and scoped to your account. Participants never see other participants' data, internal review notes, or admin tooling. A limited review team may access case materials only to operate the beta.
Is my content used to train AI models?+
We do not use participant uploads to train third-party foundation models. AI processing is used only to generate your own records and comparison context.
Can I export or delete my materials?+
Yes. You can export your originals, cases, and Evidence Records at any time, and request deletion — except where a legal hold applies to a specific record.
What happens when the beta ends?+
Beta access can be paused or ended at any time. After termination, the participant portal closes and retained records follow our published retention policy. Export anything you want to keep before your access ends.
Does the beta cost anything?+
No. The beta is free for invited participants during the program. It is separate from subscriptions and one-time Quick Reports, and it is not included with any paid tier.
What are the limitations I should expect?+
Coverage is not exhaustive — we only compare what you upload and what you log. There is no continuous web-wide monitoring, no guarantee that copies will be found, and no guarantee of any outcome, removal, or recovery.
